Sunday evening we wanted Indian food, and I read my old "notes" from previous visits to determine which of three Indian restaurants we should choose. Meanwhile, I discovered that there was a new restaurant called Akram's, described as sort of fusion of Middle-Eastern, Asian, Indian, and European. The owner/chef is from Pakistan and has worked in Abu Dhabi, Barcelona and Munich, and has received many awards. We decided to try it, but think we should have stuck with traditional Indian. There was no raita or daal - both standard accompaniments, and the dishes we had were disappointing. However, the ambiance was quite up-market - (the restaurant took over the premises of a former tapas/wine bar) - and the service was good.
